Markets have calmed quite a bit, recovering from recent selloffs. We should be prepared for more volatility, which is a normal feature of participating in the markets., but we welcome the improvement!

Housing is expensive, for a number of reasons. Unfortunately, some of those include foolish policies, as explained here. If the objective is providing affordable housing, that should be the primary success criteria.
With tariffs on everyone’s minds, it is interesting to look at how other countries operate. Even within the European Union, there are internal trade barriers that rival any tariffs the US is considering. It is another reason why Europe has not been able to rival the economic dynamism of the United States.
Mission Impossible: Final Reckoning was fun and exciting AND kind of a mess. Each movie has been longer than the last and this one could have used some additional trimming. But the stunts, as usual, were amazing. We also enjoyed Thunderbolts.
People often assume that there is a negative relationship between education and religious participation. This is true in Europe, but NOT in the United States, where increased education has a POSITIVE relationship to religious affiliation.
Is Starbucks a de facto bank? This is a good case for it.
