We’re going to repeat the theme for the year- policy uncertainty will lead to more volatility that we have become accustomed to, at least since 2022. That year, inflation led to rapid interest rate increases that caused bond values to decline and had a collateral impact on the stock market.
Right now, tariffs are putting pressure on markets, given the Trump administration’s imposition of 25% duties on imports from our largest trading partners.
